The Saints are not even a playoff team without Jimmy Graham.

I'd have to agree. I think they should pay him WR money just based on his MVP effort in SB44. We certainly couldn't have done it without him

til it gets resolved, all kinds of stupid shite will be said. Even after its done, there going to be all sides covered....JG got overpaid, JG got underpaid...JG should have this....the Saints should have that. People who report news and analyze news gotta have something to talk about baw.

I'm being objective so don't start with the Falcons stuff. I'd say that's semi-incorrect. They are a playoff team but not a Championship team. When J.G. gets taken out of games, that O sputters a lot. Definitely a lot more 3-and-outs.
Take away Sproles and then throw in rookies as replacements and it's a lot of pressure for those guys. They could respond but normally rookie WR's don't go crazy. They can have good years but usually nothing amazing. Brees definitely makes it easier BUT, I think this is gonna get interesting unless he signs something by the 15th.

I guess the OP works for ESPN.
Because he's advertising for them.

DD - i would agree, however with ben Watson still here as a TE - i think we would still have the potential to win it all without JG.
of course all of this if going to depend on the running game and the Oline. if they are bad like last year, we will have a tough time getting far int he playoffs.

So all of ESPN said this?
Was this released in a press kit, or is it in their earnings announcement?
