I'm being objective so don't start with the Falcons stuff. I'd say that's semi-incorrect. They are a playoff team but not a Championship team. When J.G. gets taken out of games, that O sputters a lot. Definitely a lot more 3-and-outs.
Take away Sproles and then throw in rookies as replacements and it's a lot of pressure for those guys. They could respond but normally rookie WR's don't go crazy. They can have good years but usually nothing amazing. Brees definitely makes it easier BUT, I think this is gonna get interesting unless he signs something by the 15th.

Colston circa 2006 says hi from the NFC championship game.

DD - i would agree, however with ben Watson still here as a TE - i think we would still have the potential to win it all without JG.
of course all of this if going to depend on the running game and the Oline. if they are bad like last year, we will have a tough time getting far int he playoffs.

Elite QB and head coach that have proven they can win the big one. Top 5 offense and defense. How are they not a championship caliber team?
