We adopted the best little dog from lafayette animal aid. We filled out an extensive questionnaire and I think they matched us with her perfectly.
We did a DNA test on her and she's a mix of white highland terrier, Japanese chin, welsh corgi, and Rottweiler. She's about 20 lbs and has the best personality.
I highly recommend adoption. If you can, go visit a shelter and spend time with the dogs. I love how well they matched us with her on how we answered the questionnaire. We've had her for almost a year now.

We adopted ours Feb of last year from a rescue. He's a yellow Lab/German Shepherd mix and he's the best dog I've ever had. He was 12 weeks old when we got him, whoever had him had abandoned the whole litter.
