Based on reading up on the teams and advice on this board, I've narrowed my choices to Arsenal, Chelsea, or Everton. Beyond that I'll have to watch some matches to see which wins my support.

Meh, just watch a full season, and get to know players and playing styles. I wouldn't really trust 99% of these "find the right teams" articles.
It doesn't have to be a top 7 team, but granted you are more likely to see them on tv than the others.

In trying to find fans and a team that I felt like I could relate to, I gravitated toward Everton and Liverpool. It's been tough to pick a favorite out of the two, but Everton has started winning me over lately.
