I think y'all are on the right track.
Hopefully Wickham and Fletcher can start out strong this year, and y'all could surprise a lot of people.

I think Gus has realized pretty quickly that there was a big time cultural problem within the club. A lot of the locals seem to think that it was a pretty heavy get paid and go the pubs type thing, a lot of chiefs and not enough Indians as well. Congerton seemed to be very well respected within the Chelsea organization and has been very straightforward about growing the academy and teaching Poyet's system throughout.
It's going to take some time and a couple of good signings but I agree I think the arrow is pointing up for sure. No reason a team with decent resources (owner, stadium, academy, fair amount of money) should have to scrape the bottom every year unless there are issues throughout the club. I think DiCanio recognized this as well but he was a legitimate lunatic and didn't have the organizational skills GP seems to have.
