Meh. Everyone knew this was coming when Howard walked. I'm actually happy that the Lakers aren't being desperate and giving out long term, over paid contracts to mid tier players (i.e NYK) just to spend money. As long as we stay out of cap hell and maintain payroll flexibility, the best franchise in basketball will return to the top soon enough.
