the motel arrangement is just temporary from what I understand but it raises a big red flag in my mind with some of the stuff going on these days.

I don't think she's freaking out about it though - but she sounded mildly concerned when I talked to her a few hours ago.

Gotcha. Well, as far as the legality goes, I would think she is not legally obligated to reimburse them for their loss unless she signed some contract stating such when she was hired. Which I seriously doubt.
