No, I would be living and working in WA. A poster pointed out the tax situation in the thread I started a few weeks ago when I was still interviewing.

Well, Vancouver is kind of sleepy, but so is Sarasota. I'd assume you could get a sick place reasonably priced in Vancouver.

Portland is a great place. You'll have a tough time finding Mrs right there unless you enjoy the earthy women. There is amazing marijuana on the cheap. It's clean, well-kept, friendly.

Don't let you family hold you back. I left home and went far, I'm never going back. If you want to give it a run, and you think there is potential, just go. Don't overthink it. You can always go home, you're fricking twenty four.
