I wouldnt want the extra roof rain water falling in the pool, plus it will "stain" that part of the slab.
With that cabinet setup, depending on your slope, water will dam up at the cabinets, stay wet and stain the slab. Unless you have gaps in the base so water can flow under the cabs.
Drill holes and place 1/2+ inch rebars, in the posts, slab. (Perpendicular to the post)
