Any of the places that have been mentioned are good. Little River Inn is very hit or miss in my opinion, so much so that we don't even consider it anymore. You could also try Duffy's Diner on Center St. Trust me it's nothing fancy, but they're consistent.

Does Lagniappe, Too on Main St. still exist? They're Gumbo Z'Herbes used to be excellent! It wasn't on the menu, you had to ask for it.
