I was wondering the same. Evidently, they're not only getting through those borders fairly easily but also making their way all the way north to the U.S.. And I get the feeling they're not using ankle express.

It is my understanding that the immigration laws and enforcement of Mexico are very, very harsh towards their Central American neighbors to the south. I am going to look into this further and add to my post.
