I equate "rock bottom" to being homeless, jobless, without friends or family and without any hope. Essentially almost worse than being dead.

Id say rock bottom is different for each person but being close to homeless or in a trailer, jobless, friendless is pretty much rock bottom.

Not rock bottom, but concrete bottom a few times by diving too deep.
