I'm just going to call BS on this one right now.

The highest credit score one can achieve is the magical FICO number of 850

You need a thicker credit file than what you've described to achieve what is the perfect score.

The longer you’ve had credit, and the older your credit accounts get, the better for your credit score. Credit scores love stability and to break into the 800s, they want to see a history of accounts that have been open for ten years or more.

Yeah, he's full of crap. I'm in the high 700's and my only dings are number of accounts and average age of accounts.

You can call BS all you want but they ran two different reports and one was 849 and the other was 800. My father in law who worked at the dealership said it was the highest he's seen. I didn't believe it when he told me. I don't know if it was some weird scoring agency (some sort of application scoring model that also accounts for salary) or what but that's what the number came out to.
