going back and watching some DVR'd games, welter gets everyone lined up, then gets completely LOST during the play... he was just REALLY slow diagnosing where the ball was or where it was going.

I watched a lot of games on replay too. It seems that he was exactly where the coaches wanted him in the first half of the season, playing in a matchup zone over the middle. At the end of the season it looks like he was free'd up to make more plays and he did.

It's why Chavis says exactly that. He gets everybody lined up......and that's pretty much it. Hopefully he has stepped it up in the offseason.
