According to composite rankings he is the 3rd best safety. Great prospect though!

3rd best safety is a hell of an accomplishment being that he has 2 seasons of HS left.

I think you guys will get him. Definitely seems like he wants to leave the state so I don't know why he'd look past LSU. His teammate however needs to stay a little closer to home.

Take the advice on here and edit your post. You've started this new journey letting the board know your age and education level...

My age and education level? Please let me know what that might be. Everyone acts like it hasn't happened when just last year two freshman beat out two upper class men for the corner position. But hell, I guess the "well educated" forgot that part.

I think you're right. He appears to want out of Texas (don't know why; maybe bad influences) and LSU is right next door

Just my thought, but the top 3 safeties in the country are from the state of Texas. The top 2 are considered HEAVY A&M leans, which could also have something to do with him leaning out of state.

NO on both statements.

LSU's two starting corners last year were Mills and White. Robinson wasn't a starter.

Mills and Collins (starting CBs in '12) were sophs in '13 so, they weren't upperclassmen either.

Lcross311..... The top 2? According to the website he is the best db in the state which likely means he is picking LSU because he actually wants to play real defense.

Lets hold off on using composite to rank players. Scout is a complete joke, so we need Rivals to balance out their crappy rankings.

Robinson was starting last year towards the end of the year. He arrived on campus a few days before school started because of clearing house. If he wouldn't have been held over, he would have started from day 1.

White and Robinson started towards the end of the season, and Robinson played the majority of the snaps at CB over Mills before he was starting.

agreed! But it's the only thing i've got to go by currently, unless I used Texags 2016 rankings. And we all know how that would go.

So you are gonna use the composite rankings that ranks em but not the service providing you the composite ranking..... Makes perfect sense.

relax! I provided you with a link to the rankings. If they change, they change. I'm just going by what the CURRENT rankings say. Reguardless of the rankings, all 3 players are EXTREMELY good gets for whoever lands their services.

Ah but that's not what you said.... What you said was that Monroe was scared of competition because the Aggies had possibly two higher profile safeties locked up.....

I did say that it was my opinion that he could possibly be looking elsewhere given the fact that the top 2 players in the country at his position are currently leaning to the Ags. What part of that statement is wrong? Maybe I should have inserted "Currently top 2"?
