I've never understood the food truck fascination, here, there, or anywhere. The food is generally average, not necessarily cheap, and you have to eat standing up in most scenarios with none of the creature comforts of a real restaurant. Its basically mobile wedding food. No thanks.
It doesn't fit your lifestyle. For me it's awesome. Roll out of Tips and need something to eat at 1 am what are my options ? Walk to 45 Tchoup, Ms, Maes, or Le Bon Temps, and hit up a food truck.

I work on Tulane Ave where there aren't very many eating options within walking distance for lunch, so I appreciate when the trucks park at Tulane Medical center or LSUHSC.
I like La Cocinita and Fat Falafel.
No clue about the remaining Baton Rouge food trucks. I like Dolce Vita, and think that Curbside's burgers at Barcadia are meh.
