ECON 705 Fanta Fassil Review:

- Weekly posts, easy A
- Every other week, group week. Easy A
- Every week, 20 question exam, Easy A or B
- Every week, video lecture to prep you for exam
- Week 4 and 7, mid/final exam. Easy A
- No interaction with Prof with exception of prep videos once a week
- He posts ancillary video links from other sites to support weekly topics which help
- Posts must be 250 words, replies 125. Effort on Group work, an hour a week.

Easy A, I do recommend. I cannot say I learned too much, but was happy with the course work load and level of the exams. I do recommend.

Econ 705 Fadi Fawaz

Fawaz is a cool dude. He wants people to succeed. He is even available for phone calls.

3 assignments each week 1 quiz, 1 excel, & 1 proctored test

You should get an easy 100% on all of the excel & quizzes since you get three opportunities on them. This counts for 60% of your final grade.

Tests can be a little tricky but weekly zoom sessions help a lot. The textbook is garbage and sometimes I had to YouTube to learn the material. I had not ever taken an economics class, calculus class, and just 1 stat class around 10 years ago.

5 hours (this includes test & quiz time) a week got me an A. YouTube the weekly topic and watch the zoom session for an A.

This was my second class in the program:
1. Acct 701 Fabio Ambrosio A 5/5
2. Econ 705 Fadi Fawaz A 4/5 (would have been a 5 but I found YouTube teachers more effective than his teaching)

Next class will be in March... any recommendations on the easier class... ISDS with Gibbs or MADM 701 with Kimberly Williams???

I will have a 2 month old and a 2 year old so that’s why I want to take the easier class.
Anyone on the fence about starting the program, do it! It’s hard working full time with a family, but it’s been very rewarding. Good luck!
