TLDR: ACCT 701 with Dr. Li Huang is quite doable with another class.

I am in my first class of the program, but I wish I would have known more before. Two tests in and I totally wish I would have taken an additional class with ACCT 701 (Li Huang).

I do not have any accounting background and have made a 100 on the first 2 tests (closed book, 10 questions multiple choice, proctorio). The "homework" consists of a 20 question which are open note proctorio, two attemps...made a 100 on both modules so far.

Everything you need to know for the weekly test (50% of grade) and "homework" assessment (30% of grade) is in the powerpoint. If I understand the concepts on the homework assessment, then I will know the weekly test. It's not the same test, but the questions are around the same concepts and style. This is the format for the entire session from what I can tell. I spend about 5 to 10 hours a week, tops.

The only caveats I see/know is A) Dr. Li Huang is somewhat hard to understand when listening to the lectures, but I get what I need out of it, B) There is a "project" at the end of the semester that we haven't been told what it involves, but what I have gleaned from emails: it is going to be something that can be done in a week's time (20% of grade), C) I am a good test taker, so this class seems simple to me, YMMV if you do not test well. This is memorization and regurgitation at the core.

I will update after the semester, but I wanted to give people something since registration for Summer is coming up soon.

Can you email me about this class? I’m signed up for it in AP2 and have additional questions.
