I just got my "acceptance" into the program today and now scheduling my classes starting in summer AP2. Here are the classes I'm scheduling together, how does this look:
Summer AP2- BADM 700 (Wright) & MADM 752 (Knotts) Fall AP1 - BADM 701 (White) & ACCT 701 (McGee)
Any thoughts or comments would be appreciated.

Wasn't a fan of accounting 701. It's all through cengage learning

That looks fine. Have you determined for sure that you must take BADM 701 and 702?
It's encouraged for new students to begin with one course the first semester to judge course load versus non-school obligations, but the courses you listed are low level and you'd probably regret not pairing now to save your single course semesters for more involved courses.
MADM 752 was busy work that I didn't take much away from, and ACCT 701 was a breeze (up to 3 answer checks on Cengage before submitting).

I made an A with Meeks in 751, should I make an A as well with Knotts in 752?

Paul I see you replying to a lot of people here and I appreciate that. You have any tips to get through ECON 705 with Shaughnessy? I am also taking ACCT 701 but it's no problem.

Yeah. It's not like the content is more difficult, I just found 752 to be a snooze fest. 752 became more about a bunch of meaningless tasks whereas Meeks had us reflect and understand.

I made a C in Econ with Shaughnessy. I found it to be the most difficult course. Just a ton of math and the way his quizzes are structured are peculiar.

Dr. Bigler just announced his retirement effective tomorrow. No word on his replacement. Big loss in my opinion.

A coworker who applied for the program recently heard this during the process. He's launching a strategy firm and it's been known for some time.

Is his departure going to devalue the MBA?
Posted on 6/29/16 at 11:57 pm to Paul Allen
I doubt that, though he was great. It's a growing program gaining popularity and will inevitably price itself out of its current value to students, but I don't think that will have anything to do with Bilger leaving. As growth-focused as he is, perhaps he sees that happening sooner rather than later - who knows?

Who knows, you're right

Best way in your opinion to study for Tami Knots MADM 752 class?
All about family owned business. She has 2 quizzes weekly. Were they difficult? I know they are multiple choice and true false.

They weren't easy.

She gives study guides which helps. I wrote in page numbers on the study guide for reference. If you can make time to read the chapters twice, that would serve you well. There is not enough time during the quizzes to turn back through chapters.
My quiz grades were average, but the action assignments are weighted such that it didn't matter. Use the book for action assignments. Participate in group because peer feedback on participation is part of your course grade. I actually still have all my stuff saved from this course.

I don't see one listed on moodle.
Did you make an A in the class?
Did you find the audio/PowerPoint lectures helpful?
Maybe you're confusing this class with Dr. Mabry's class? She gave a study guide.

Paul Allen, I can't remember if it was you or another poster that said they had Vines previously? Is he lenient on grading on his FIN exams?
