It is possible that a slot on the motherboard could go bad.
Right after I asked you guys this, I told her to take out one ram card and try running on just one of the 4gig and it seems to be running fine, so I am assuming now the RAM I bought for her on Friday was bad, and the RAM we bought her yesterday is good.
They did look different, funny deal is I had a Best Buy geek look up the right ram on Friday and we picked out the RAM yesterday, so my guess is now still maybe logic board(her 2008 is not under any repair or warranty) or the RAM I bought on Friday was bad or one of her RAM slots is dirty or bad?
