I like the idea but you still need to teach her how to drive and safety. Not scare her to never drive again. Ride with her and teach as long as she's not being reckless. I was driving an old Chevy pickup around the yard and field when I was 10. I'm sure there are plenty of others who were driving vehicles as well. Teaching safety is the key.
