Derrick is the one running the house. There isn't a single juicy tidbit he doesn't know about. He talks game constantly.

He seems like a nice guy and pretty un-threatening, but eventually wouldn't people be like "hold up..this guy knows all my secrets, and everyone else's in teh house" and kinda be turned off by that?

Also (I don't have the live feeds) how did he gain everyone's trust so quickly? It's been what, like 2 weeks in the house? What did he do to get everyone to open up to him and share their gossip?

It's hard to describe and make it funny, but it was hilarious when Donny did it, only because it was Donny and he was horrible at telling it. He also made the motion about putting it on his head.

quote:

Manuel and Pedro worked together and both were laid off, so they went to the unemployment office. When asked his occupation, Manuel answered, "Panty Stitcher. I sew da elastic onto ladies' cotton panties."

The clerk looked up Panty Stitcher. Finding it classified as "unskilled labor," she gave him $300 a week unemployment pay.

Pedro was asked his occupation. "Diesel Fitter," he replied. Since diesel fitter was a skilled job, the clerk gave Pedro $600 a week.

When Manuel found out he was furious. He stormed back into the office to find out why his friend and co-worker was collecting double his pay.

The clerk explained, "Panty stitchers are unskilled and diesel fitters are skilled labor"

"What skill?!" yelled Manuel. "I sew the elastic on da panties, Pedro puts dem over his head and says: 'Yeah, diesel fitter.'"

Some people just have that ability. There are are several people in the house who are under the impression Derrick is their closest ally in the game even after Devin and Zach blew up everything. He is able to have friendships that are actually just a part of his plan to advance in game. Not many people can do that because they don't have the energy to have that many long conversations with different people. On tv it seems so easy to hold relationships that are just part of a game but in real life it's extremely difficult. Derrick is the rare type of person that fits in in that environment.
