It's typical protocol for daycares to call, text, and email (three points of contact) to ask about the whereabouts of the child if the kid doesn't show up. Huge ball dropped on the part of the daycare if it didn't do this, as it would be further evidence of the Harrises intentions and the daycare would've covered its liability.

My kids daycare does not unfortunately. The public school does but not until later in the day after school.
