Of all the stuff I read today, a shortage of black offensive line coaches was not expected to be on the agenda.

Connections are important, and it seems like he has no one to vouch for him. If he did he wouldn't be at gw.

And this explains the current lack of black OL coaches, coordinators, etc.
As I've said before, it will take time but it will eventually happen. Football is a meritocracy, but you can't prove your worth without an opportunity. This is why the Rooney Rule (which only guarantees an opportunity to interview) is still important.
