screw your friendships with the families. Baseball is more important. especially youth baseball. you should NOT compromise your integrity as a winning coach or your reputation for placating a couple of people with kids who can't play. they are not your concern.
Could you live with yourself because you didn't win a tournament in youth ball just to preserve some friendships?
