I have a hard time believing she spit out 3 kids and is homeless in her 20s, AND she's good looking.

She's trashy as frick. You don't want to be friends with her. Bail out.

She is one of the hardest working females I ever worked with - remember seeing her work 80+ hours/week for months on end. Everything in her life was going great until this medical condition came up - her life pretty much fell to pieces after that. Afterwards, she got hooked up with this guy. The girl's tough - just hit a brick wall in life - then lost a child and her father.

I wouldn't be wasting my time with some drug addict - if you've ever read any of my posts - i got zero interest in helping people on drugs.

Tell her you don't mind listening to her and giving advice if asked. But not to go out to your place without an invite and you present.

Also, let her know the neighbors do keep an eye on it for you and if they can't reach you, they will call the sheriff who will call it trespassing.

Beyond encouraging words to get her moving in the right direction, I'd not offer anything else.
