I've seen the Grateful Dead something like 70+ times from '87-'95.
That being said, I prefer '67-'71 (can't beat Pigpen!), followed by '88-''91.
I know the '77 run is hailed as the GOAT of Dead runs, but I just can not tolerate Donna Jean Godcheaux. In my opinion, a plethora of the '77 jams were ruined by her cackling.

She does some serious hurting on Scarlet Begonias. My favorite Dead tune, and she practically ruins is singing over Jerry's solo
