We have a potential employee coming in for an interview next week through a head hunter. This is a department head position with a 6 figure salary.
The first thing a few of us did after deciding to bring this guy in was check FB, Instagram, Twitter, and linkedin. I will be one of the ones interviewing him and found it extremely advantageous to know more about him outside of the resume.

Where you able to locate the person's social media? If so, did he/she have it locked up or were you able to find out some information?

But what exactly stands out when you look at Facebook? Are drinking/partying pics (not too outrageous) frowned upon or accepted?
I would assume radical political stuff is a red flag.

Don't forget to check his TD post history while you're at it.

How do you feel if he is not on face book, twitter, etc.
