I had the sales girl try to pull the "We are only making a few hundred dollars on the deal". I literally laughed out loud and told her she was full of shite.

Its a pretty amusing story that is too long to type out here, but sitting quiet got me a better price than I was expecting for her. She would have pulled the trigger, but me being in control and taking emotion out of it saved her $1k.

I am about to go through all this with Honda and Toyota. The good thing is I have four vehicles out of those two manufacturers that I am willing to buy. I won't even try to deal with the Lake Charles Toyota as they have zero inventory in one of the vehicles I like. As much as I hate buying vehicles, I love the haggling...
