They probably don't, but they screwed themselves on the Melo/Stoudemire experiment. Maybe they would like to add some more young talent to help better attract someone down the line.

If we traded Gordon and a future pick to someone with cap space for a pick; wouldn't that leave us with decent cap space to sign a decent C? Assuming we would draft a SF this year?
