while all that is 100% correct. In my experience, the extent of "advice" given to patients is "you need to start exercising & eat better" really doc? Thanks

People go to the doctor when they shouldn't. Doctors have to say something

Not all medical cases are as challenging as the show House. I blame people for going to the doctor instead of just knowing this.

Annual checkups are good in case they detect strange levels of white blood cells, cholesterol, etc.
