BEIRUT, Lebanon—Iran has deployed Revolutionary Guard forces to fight al Qaeda-inspired militants that have overrun a string of Iraqi cities, and it has helped Iraqi troops win back control of most of Tikrit, Iranian security sources said.
Someone please explain to me why this is a bad thing.

not necessarily a "bad" thing. just an embarrassment to the administration that claims al qaeda has been decimated.

I was beginning to think this was a disguised Iranian incursion of some sort, guess I was wrong.
