Here's some Book 4 News and Rumors
LINK
The most interesting ones

Book 4 will be 13 episodes long.

Given that Book 1 focused on Korra learning Airbending, Book 2 on the Water Tribes conflict, and Book 3 on the Earth Kindgom, it is likely Book 4 brings us to the Fire Nation and current Fire Lord, Zuko’s daughter.

Korra and Katara have a scene together.

Book 4 is rumored to have a January 2015 release based on the fact that this is when the Book 3 Artbook comes out, and the previous Artbooks have had releases timed approximately with the next season. Beyond this grasping-at-straws connection, January seems like a reasonable release time considering how far along production is and the fact that online distribution eliminates Nick’s scheduling issues.

Bryke have stated that 2014 was Korra’s last big SDCC panel, meaning that Book 4 will be released before summer of next year. This further supports the Q1 2015 rumor, as well as the likelihood of us getting our first look at Book 4 at NYCC this year, October 9th-12th.

Well, watched the finale last Friday, and I enjoyed it immensely. Tenzin didn't die like I and many others predicted (the Facebook page was a deliberate troll attempt), but they managed to be still pretty damn brutal in the episode, especially with Combustion Woman's death.

Zaheer is the best villain in the franchise, and it really needed an airbending villain. I do like how all the villains of the franchise very much correspond with their element:

Fire is the element of power, and is a destructive force. Ozai and Azula gain power through mindless destruction that consumes everything.
Earth is the element of substance and control. Both Long Feng and the Earth Queen gain power through controlling their people through corrupt and unethical methods.
Water is the element of change and manipulation. Amon, Tarrlok, and Unalaq relied mostly on manipulation to gain power.
Air is the element of freedom. Zaheer doesn't want power, he wants to completely destroy any earthly attachments. He wants anarchy.

But Korra was pretty fricked up at the end of this, and am really curious how this goes into the next season. Really hoping for the Korrasami ship (no way it will happen due to parents flipping their shite), and really liked the ending with Jinora getting her tattoos.

Now time for a Crackpot theory: the metalbender that saves Korra's father is not only a member of the Red Lotus, but is Zaheer's daughter. They really went out of their way to introduce this character, and insisted on going with them to rescue Korra. When they introduce her, if you listen closely, you can here the Red Lotus theme being played subtly. Plus they have very subtle facial similarities, particularly in the eyes:

I'm guessing she'll be one of the surprise Red Lotus members, and that Zaheer is still going to be orchestrating his chaotic plans from prison through the Spirit World. Then like 2/3rds through the season, he's busted out again for one final showdown with Korra.
