What happened to the Right's mantra of "the least qualified ever to be elected president"? The man just got elected US Senator. At least Obama had been a state senator. Isn't it a bit disingenuous to claim Obama was unqualified but then back Rand? And I don't know if you said this, I'm saying generally.
But I know the answer to my question... What applies to Democrats does not apply to Republicans. Cruz born in another country? No problem. Bush had the NSA spying on us even without any legal authority? He's not president. The Lebanon bombings were 50 times worse in terms of casualties and incompetence (they had barbed wire ammo-less guards) and was covered up AND we invaded fricking Grenada two days later! No problem... Reagan was God.
Yeah I know the rules. Experience will not be an issue. Because he's. republican.

he would have been a US Senator for 6 years before being POTUS.

that doesn't qualify you for being POTUS
The biggest problem the next potus will face will be the fallout from the clusterfrick the is the AHA, a person who holds a MD and actually knows what the freak happens in medicine will be better than a freaking lawyer.

then stop saying they did it too

You can't call someone else out for being a "hack" in the other thread and then come in and completely deflect and attempt to change subjects like this in other threads. It's weak.

First off- he's a Duke-trained physician. Not another lawyer that turned community organizer.
Ooooo- BO was a state senator! Wow. Look how he won that election. Look how he won all of his elections prior to 2008- by totally discrediting and muckracking his opponents.

You mean kinda like how Dems constantly complain about Bush even when B.O. does the SAME exact things?

That precedent has already been established. Try again

If you compare professional careers, then Rand Paul is much better than Obama ever was.
Anyways, with the way things are, why would a future vote be hinged on whether someone has a lot of political experience? Seems like to me we have a large amount of problems up there in DC that politicking experience hasn't fixed. Maybe a new dose of real world professional people is what is needed.
But not another "community organizer".
