Using this logic, Westboro would never be afforded police protection since everyone thinks they're assholes. It doesn't work that way. It's called law enforcement, not personal belief enforcement. As long as your assignment doesn't violate the law you are obligated to complete it. Don't like it? Turn in your badge.
