I've said it before, and I'll say it again; Joe Horn was money when it came to the way he treated my kids at training camp. The guy was awesome, kept everyone entertained, and was the first to sign, and the last to leave. He will always be one of my favorite Saints.
That's why I was so surprised by the way he acted that day I was at camp. No 87, no autograph. I had heard the opposite about him. He was kind of a dick that day, tho
Same with Bryan Cox. I have a buddy who had a copule run ins with when he was in Miami. Said he was an awesome guy. Complete a-hole at Saints camp. But he was just in it for a paycheck by the time he got to NO.
Come to think of it, this was the same day so maybe it was a rough practice. I do remember Sammy Knight OTW to the locker room and I hollered his name, he stopped and came back to sign dozens of autographs for anyone who wanted one.

See thats what I meant when I said theres evidence that he was a jerk as a player. He did come across as arrogant and hard headed.
He didn't ever come across as selfish or lazy though. He seemed to love his teammates but I'd bet he let Sean Payton know what he thought about the offensive scheme.
But yea when I saw him at Millsapps in 2006 with the old man and the helmet. That was the most friendly and evidently sincere exchange I've ever seen between an NFL player and a fan.
