Here in Missouri, the Concealed Carry permits are held at the local sheriff's office only. There is no collaboration on that information with other law enforcement. I'm sure Feinstein and Boxer want the Feds to have that info in their database.

It's probably meant to be another step closer to universal registration for all guns.
