Top 10 LSU QBs - Geaux

Trying to pump myself up for another 10 win season under our greatest coach of all time and I started thinking about how much better the QBs have been lately compared to the 90s. If I had to rank them in my 35 years as a fan and my knowledge of LSU prior to then it would look like this:
JR - hands down any other #1 is wrong
Bert Jones - using history here alone
YA Title - history again and hard to even rank when he didn't play with blacks or throw like today. I'll give it to him. More so on NFL success though.
Hodson - often regarded as the best from people who went to school during that time but I can't listen to that. But his numbers speak well.
Davey - only one great season but it was unreal and fun. He is my Hodson
Mauck - season cut short in 2002 but was our first really good double threat QB and won a championship
Flynn - similar to Davey with only one full year and a bowl game. Had an elite offense to help him out which is why I put him behind Mauck. And he lost twice that year to shitty teams.
This is where I get stuck. You have Mettenberger, Risher, Perrilloux, and a few others people may throw in there (especially those over 50). How would you finish the top 10 and would you have any others in the top 7 instead?

Seriously? He doesn't belong in the discussion for top 25 LSU QB's, let alone top 10.

I'm not sure of 1-9.
But #10 is Herb Tyler.

I didn't say Perrilloux belonged but he was a huge contributor in 2007 and was better than Herb Tyler by far yet someone already wants to include him.
I figured someone would throw in Woodley but in not gonna. It's bad enough you have to convince people that JR wasn't the best.

Based on his wopping ONE career start? You can't put him ahead of Tyler because of name recognition and hype. Well, you could, but that's really dumb.

No Jordan Jefferson?
5th all time in career wins.

Supposedly, we may have had a shot at nc, maybe two, with him, but the guys returning from WWII were given their old jobs back(rightfully so,) and it kind of broke up the continuity/chemistry of what they were putting together.

Which is why I hate comparing players today with players in the 1940s. Just stupid.

Some probably have Brandon Harris on the list.
