As the writer said, the Heat are worse and the Spurs are better

I'm not convinced of this. Regular season Heat are worst than last year's regular season Heat, no doubt.

It's cliche, but I don't think there's any doubt the Heat did lots of coasting in the regular season, the defensive numbers(especially Lebron's) really do show this. But even aside from that, Wade was hobbled big time against SA in the Finals last season and is not this season. I don't see it as that much different than last season, with both teams about as evenly matched as possible.

Bosh is now a 3 point specialist who isn't anywhere near the paint to contest rebounds or get offensive ones.

That's by design, the Heat don't care about rebounding, generally speaking of course.

Maybe those are fair points but I just look at the two teams play and say to myself "San Antonio is just better"

S.A. was as impressive (likely moreso) in beating the Blazers and Thunder as Miami was in beating the Nets and Pacers.

Lowe makes a great point, how Miami is virtually unbeatable when they play small ball. But can SA stop that trend? As Lowe says, the Spurs will likely show a lot of Diaw/Duncan tandems, as opposed to using Splitter/Duncan.

The Pacers used Hibbert/West a lot. Ray Allen wore out D. West. Will Diaw have better success? Diaw is a lot more crafty than West offensively, can Diaw exploit the matchups when smaller players are guarding him?

Should be interesting.
