That's pretty much been my observation too. Another word that I only hear White folks use is "biracial". The only Black person who I've ever heard refer to himself as biracial is Tiger Woods, and technically, he's not biracial, he's triracial.

I actually call my nieces "biracial". I don't like the term "mixed." It makes me feel as though I'm talking about a dog.
