One time, I was driving 55mph down Burbank and was pulled over by an officer.
He said, "are you aware that you have one headlight that is burned out?"
I said, "yes sir. I actually have the replacement right here on my passenger seat. I had a little trouble getting it in/around past the way the battery is mounted. I actually plan on going home this weekend and having my father help me with it. I've been trying to only drive during daylight in good conditions"
He responded with, "where are you coming from this late (probably close to 2200)?"
And I said, "i just finished playing music at my church over on campus, and I stuck around to study for a bit before driving home."
He sent me away after promising to get it fixed and to quit driving at night until it was. He seemed like a really good officer of the law.
