Killz, how would you compare it to Wheel of Time? Just wondering because I hated Wheel of Time and if Mistborn is in the same vein I'm going to stay away.

Much faster pace. Not sure if you finished Wheel of Time but it really got moving when Sanderson took over the series.

I just fell upon Sanderson based on positive reviews on this board. I haven't read Wheel of Time yet. I was told to start with the Mistborn series.
So far it's great!
