He made a killing. That is what businessmen do.
OH....I forgot. He got called a racist.
BTW, you seem to know a lot about Sterling's dick. Sorry your hook-up with him left you blue-balled.

It seems his racist words offended you. Im sure you are equally as pissed every time a black person says something racists.

So Forbes has the Clippers valued at $514 million, yet the lowly Bucks just sold for $550 million in real life.
Once again.
Clippers - $2 billion
Bucks - $550 million
Did you get that profit figure yet? Turn down some of the base, and maybe you think better.

So Navy Tiger thinks being a racists is wrong but making obscene comments on a message board about a persons mother and father are okay?
I see we are dealing with an ignorant son of a bitch that cant see just how fricking stupid he is.

Apparently so and I don't like it.

I'm just trying to ascertain if your Forbes article is even remotely accurate to the actual market conditions.
But I see you're not really interested in discussing the merits.
Duly noted.

Right. Forbes is off-base on their evaluations, but you are right on target.
We know Forbes credentials in the world of finance, what are yours?
World's largest collection of a second rate thug's CDs doesn't count.

You must be awfully thick, my friend. What I've been laying on you is really, really simple.
ETA: No more shite talking for a while. If I say anything personal, it's in jest. We don't know each other.

Sterling is probably pretty upset about the whole thing and will greatly miss sitting court side watching his team.
Now me, I would give up watching sports altogether for $2 Billion.

WAIT! You're on the Forbes 400.
You just play a dumbass on here to throw people off? We would immediately recognize you if your real name were revealed.
Warren, is that you?

I feel like this is a fool's errand trying to explain this to you.
Forbes valued the Clippers at $514m and the Bucks just sold for $550m.
If the valuations of Forbes were accurate, you're telling me the Bucks are a more valuable franchise than the Clippers.
Is that what you're saying?
Also, why do you keep ignoring my question about what would happen to the price of a team if multiple parties wanted to purchase the team?

Me and you both.
With $2 billion I would take up my own sport, Sport fricking.
...and it sure wouldn't be with a beast like the one Sterling was with.
Posted on 5/29/14 at 9:34 pm to Navytiger74
Yeah, I'm gonna take the high road here, too.
Posted on 5/29/14 at 9:35 pm to SavageOrangeJug
At $2 billion, and an operating profit of $15 million, the P/E ratio would be north of 130. Seems kind of steep for an NBA franchise.
