Nope, fees are static. No premiums. There is also a ride expense estimator on the app.
It's cheap, especially for groups of 3-4. No cash, no signing, all linked to your card, receipt emailed immediately.

Fees are not static. in peak times, the app will pop a screen and you have to agree to 2x or 3x pricing depending on the demand.
Other than that, its outstanding! Used it several times in NYC and D.C.....and I may never get in a cab again. You're sent a receipt by email within minutes of getting out of the vehicle and your card is charged promptly.
