Every answer looked prepared, that's all. Combined with an air of smug nerdiness, I don't think it's going to help public perception as much as it could have. Just my opinion.

That is a good description of his tone.

However, if people pay attention to the actual substance of his remarks, then I believe the vast majority will come away extremely impressed w/ him and agree w/ his views and actions.
