Sorry I was behind on the thread this week but here come my comments the best I can remember the episodes.

Five-Twenty-Ten

This episode was ok, wasn't one of the best of the series and may be one of the worst ones. Nothing to memorable to me.

This Peter going rogue stuff is ok but not great. He is starting to lose emotion even though he is driven by the emotion of revenge.

I don't like that peter got the tech and it just seems to easy for Peter. Every observer has the ability to manipulate the future and Peter is able to do it pretty well? Maybe they are letting him? Maybe it is all a part of their plan or something, but it just seemed to easy.

I do like how they are playing on the issues that this is causing between Peter and Olivia. It always seems like Olivia is the sane one in all of this and the one to bring things into perspective. It sucks that peter when behind her back on this, but I guess that happens in many relationships .

I think it was in this episode can't remember but the moment when Olivia finally decides to watch the video Walter gave her was a touching moment. Even to see her reflection in the TV screen was pretty cool. I guess Olivia is trying to hold on to the good memories of her child while Peter can't het his mind off what the observer did to her.

Overall decent but not great episode.

The Human Kind

so we continue this dual plot line going on right now in the story. You have what olivia was doing and what Peter was doing.

Let's start with Olivia. This part of the show was decent and some good parts. IT is pretty cool that the people with the magnets were expecting her to come, but Olivia, being Olivia doesn't trust them at all. I like how they set that up and the conflict that happened there.

Now to Peter, ok this was just kinda stupid and way off the story line. I guess it was needed little bit but show would have been better if Peter didn't start to become a emotionless human. This part of the show kinda makes you feel like you are in a video game or something, trying to manipulate other people to cause them to do something. Peter in a way discovers his ability is limited but he of course doesn't believe it. I think the last emotion he is holding onto (revenge) is making him blind to what is really going on.

Back to Olivia, I love BA moments of Olivia she always seems to find a way to make escape and killings look cool. Used the bullet slug her daughter always held on to, to kill and escape. Head shot, than finds that bullet to save it, kills the other guy head shot. I wonder if alternate olivia rubbed off on this olivia because those were some great shots.

Now the plot lines seem to converge at the end of this episode, which was one of the only highlights of this show. The montage of the memories was a great moment. I love how Olivia talks about what we have over the observers is love. Now I think they equated love to an emotion which I have big problems with but that is for another time. Forgetting that issue, I thought the end of this episode was great. Observers don't love, don't forget about the love you have for me (Olivia) and your daughter. It's great that love moved peter to remove the tech. If I remember correctly Love plays a role in the end too. We shall see though.

Both episodes were Meh, but I think the ones coming up are much better.

Myth said the same thing. The writing seems to be flying off the handle in S5 a bit.

See, the Peter and Olivia thing bothers me this season. I don't mind what they've done with them onscreen, but the whole "they split up" thing that we keep hearing about bothers me a LOT. They were so perfect for each other, yet when S5 starts, we're supposed to buy that one of them up and moved across the country after the invasion and turned their back on each other? It just doesn't make much sense for me.

I remember that, and it was cool how Peter finally let go of the tech and gave into love and memory of his daughter in favor of destroying his humanity all in the name of revenge.

Black Blotter

Walter is really really tripping, What is going on? This is crazy, yeah that is just super super crazy. Walter is seeing things, matches magically move through space, he sees what is going on around him like a TV screen, this is the highest I’ve ever seen walter.

I actually wasn't a huge fan of the LSD trip stuff. Felt like filler when they are running out of episodes, and the only real thing it seemed to serve was Walter getting the "black umbrella" password.

HERE WE GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I remember the first time I watched this Monty Python tribue, I had to pause it because I was laughing so hard. I think this is the greatest moment of Fringe.

ALl I could think about was You Can't Do That on Television...obviously it's MP, but when I was a kid I didn't really know about MP.
