I say we watch it next week. I'm on the finale and have watched the first half.
so AKA sept 8th we begin discussing 4 episodes (5 if you count the finale as 2)

Those contradict each other.
If we watch the finale THIS week, we discuss it on the 8th (Monday). It would just mean that we have five episodes to watch this week (well four, but one is a two-parter), which I'm cool with but wanted to get ya'lls input on it before adding it in the OP.
