This basically what I said I hoped would happen in all of the threads on here.

I hope the crazy Russians and jihadists fight forever.

We truly only half arse it it arming them, we are giving them tow anti tank guns, Russian arms including automatic weapons, mortars and some limited small rockets akin to mortars.. What I did find interesting is that we are in small batches, training them in other countries but are not training or providing any anti aircraft support.. That's the thing they won't the most.

I won't pretend to really have an answer as to what we should be doing but eventually we will just piss off the rebels and I get the sense that even the moderates despise us and feel used. Not a good policy IMO. I feel like the whole conflict is beyond our current capabilities and reach, leading to the conclusion that we should have stayed out of it from the beginning.
