I dont think this is true, but even if it is, the sabermetric stats account for this.

And people using fielding percentage? lol. It means nothing.

Take 2013 for example. Jimmy Rollins played in the same amount of games as Andrelton Simmons. Rollins had 3 less errors(11 to AS's 14).

Simmons had over 125 MORE total chances. He made 50 MORE putouts. Had 70 MORE assists. He turned 5 more double plays. Again they played in the same amount of games...


but but but but but Rollins had a better FLD%!!!!! Simmons had the 4th highest FLD% in the national league, yet anyone that has watched baseball will tell you he is the best defensive SS in the last 10 years, and that he may have had one of THE BEST defensive seasons ever recorded last year.
