it would sort itself out. Let's put it this way, if the choice is between a huge talent at SS or a mediocre talent at C, choose the damn SS regardless of need.

CASE IN POINT: 2006 draft, Colorado Rockies owner Dick Monfort instructed the Rockies to pass on Longoria because they had too many 3B in the system. Garrett Atkins was their 3B at the time. They drafted Tulo the year before out of the same school as Longo. Instead, they reached and took a position of need (P) with Greg Reynolds.
